Then it’s time to pick up the camera and film it as Channel4.com has whipped up a treat, giving YOU the chance to become part of the new T4 show, ‘Homemade’ with the launch of www.channel4.com/homemade.
The newly launched website, www.channel4.com/homemade, gives you the opportunity to submit innovative videos of your confessions, video diaries, dance moves, lip syncing skills (miming and dancing along to a favourite song), TV and film spoofs or pretty much anything that’s quirky and entertaining. And what’s more you could even see your amazing creative work on national television in the new T4 show ‘Homemade’ – the only requirements are that your clip is the original work of the person submitting it and consent must be given from all participants in the video before sending it in.
So your moment of fame is possibly just round the corner - go on to www.channel4.com/homemade NOW to submit your very own unique homemade content. The best, funniest and weirdest videos will then be selected to appear on the weekly Sunday morning T4 show, ‘Homemade’ due to launch on the 7 January 2007. ‘Homemade’ will be a weekly entertainment show jam packed with music, games, comedy and celebrity guests – it just happens to be made by you talented people at home.
If you need inspiration, keep an eye on www.channel4.com/homemade as from the beginning of December, the site will swing into full operation, providing the opportunity to not only upload your own content, but to view, have a good old laugh at and rate all the other videos on the site. But if your creative juices are already flowing, what are you waiting for, it’s time to impress, amuse and entertain with your own recipe of homemade content that could rise to the occasion of entertaining the nation on a Sunday morning.
Jody Smith, Producer, Channel4.com comments; “With the increasing popularity of digital cameras, webcams and camera phones, most people now have the means to easily shoot fun footage. But rather than just filming stuff to show to their friends, we want the public to shoot original entertainment that will be shown to the whole of Britain on TV and online. Channel4.com is taking this revolution of homemade production to a new level by offering the public inspiration and the opportunity to exhibit original and imaginative content through www.channel4.com/homemade. Ultimately, the success of ‘Homemade’ will be down to the quality of content uploaded to the site, so we encourage everyone to pick up their cameras or phones and start filming, the air time is all yours, so entertain us!” |
